During the summer of 2009 we worked on two sequences for the danish Christmas comedy "Julefrokosten".
Our work involved digital enhancement of a puking sequence. In the shot the actor (Kim Bodnia) vomits explosively. In spite of his best efforts on the set we were asked to add a lot more spewing.
We used our trusty fluid simulation software to generate large amounts of additional puke and integrated it seamlessly with the live action footage.
The result is a disturbing, over-the-top hilarious scene, not for the faint of heart. Actually - consider yourself warned.
We were nominated for a "Robert award" for best special effects in 2010 together with the guys at Postyr.
