Crashing a satellite into a car is basically a dream job for us. This kind of effect is why we started doing visual effects in the first place.
It goes without saying that crashing satellites cause a running crack in nearby asphalt surfaces. We added this effect to drastically enhance the realism of the whole thing.
As a team we got to combine a lot of our skills into one effect, which was challenging and fun.
